Crash Bandicoot N. San Trilogy delivers on what was promised, overhauling the visuals of the Naughty Dog-developed trilogy and successfully resurrecting the beloved bandicoot.

I've probably played through the three original Crash games - either in their PS1 or N. Sane form - at least once a year since I first played them as a kid. May not be the most ambitious trilogy of games, but I think they nail everything they set out to achieve.

Crash Bandicoot: Warped was my introduction to gaming back in the early 2000s, so naturally I had to go to the midnight launch of this collection. It was an emotionally-charged ride through my childhood and one I frequently find myself coming back to. The upgrades did increase the difficulty somewhat, particularly in the lower games, but it's so easy to forgive for the effort Vicarious Visions put into bringing a beloved character into the modern era.
