Description
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is the direct sequel to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and was released in 1993. The story follows the Belmont clan as they once again try to defeat a newly resurrected Dracula.

Castlevania: Rondo of Blood is a brutal and beautiful action-platformer that really shows off what the series is all about. The levels are tough, but fair, with great variety in enemies and environments. Richter Belmont’s whip feels powerful, and the soundtrack is a perfect fit, with those iconic, atmospheric tunes. I love how the game mixes traditional Castlevania elements with a bit of branching paths and secrets. The difficulty can be punishing, especially with its limited lives and continues, but that’s part of the challenge. If you're a fan of old-school difficulty and classic 2D platformers, Rondo of Blood delivers in spades.
