Description
A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.
All-New Characters and All-New Classes: Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
World Connected Story: Find yourself left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora as you begin your quest of revenge and redemption. Expose the evil surrounding the Hyperion Corporation and take on the perpetrator of a universe-wide grand deception -- the nefarious Hyperion CEO, Handsome Jack. (Oh, also: he's stolen credit for the opening of the Vault.)

A good game but the only significant difference from the first game was the environment. Still enjoyable, but it didn't exactly inspire me to play the 3rd.

Borderlands 2 is hands down one of the funniest and most clever games I’ve ever played.
The edgy humor, brilliant storytelling, and unforgettable characters (with great voice acting) make it one of my favorite game. The gameplay is just fast-pace-fun-explosive-satisfying, co-op is always fun to have and it has great replayability.
It’s just a masterpiece in every sense—Loot and shoot FTW!

Borderlands 2 sets the gold standard for humor in gaming, delivering great moments with its absurd characters, sharp writing, and iconic one-liners. Handsome Jack’s villainous wit steals the show, making every encounter both chaotic and hilarious. Overwatch 2 is the game that keeps me coming back, even though I swear I’m done every time I lose a match. The new maps, modes, and heroes are fresh, and the team-based gameplay is as chaotic and fun as ever. But the balance is a mess sometimes, and don’t get me started on the matchmaking. It’s still fun, though, especially if you’ve got a squad to roll with. Can’t help but love it, even when it frustrates the heck out of me.

Borderlands 2 will forever be the best Borderlands game in the franchise, with me even considering it better than the first one. One of the main reasons this game is one of the best is ho it gave players the villain of Handsome Jack, who was equal parts evil as he was hilarious, making for some great moments that I wish we had gotten again in Borderlands 3.

Despite Borderlands 3 adding depth and smoothing out some of the rough edges, there is a certain charm to this grueling, zany, and highly-addictive looter shooter that is seldom matched. The barrage of super fun and unique weaponry, quasi-apocalyptic landscapes of Pandora, and particuarly memorable characters - including the best all-time gaming villain Handsome Jack - puts this ARPG on another level. The game is especially enjoyable when locking and loading with another player, though is still highly entertaining when vault-hunting solo.

Borderlands 2 has the best writing in all of the Borderlands games, and perhaps one of my favorite villains in all games ever. Even though I enjoyed the 3rd installments gameplay much more, there wouldn't be a third if this one wasn't made. Thanks for the memories!
