Origins was a good change of direction in the franchise and probably what AC needed.
Choosing Egypt as the original rise of Assassins was also a cool idea by Ubisoft, and they nailed it perfectly. The visuals for this game was amazing, but the level grind was too heavy and probably more aggressive than required for a single-player game.

At first I was quite disappointed by the huge shift from Syndicate to Origins in terms of becoming more of a level-based RPG. Luckily I think this vast and at times empty environment works very well in the Egyptian setting, making it the best of the modern AC games in my view!
