Materials are scarce in Days Gone Remastered, as a zombie apocalypse is well underway. While players can pick up med packs, grenades, and other supplies, they can also craft things. Crafting is also a great way to save credits for purchasing bike and weapon upgrades.
Crafting requires specific materials to make things, such as rags and Kerosene. Many crafting materials can be found throughout the open world or purchased from merchants and traders at refugee camps. Kerosene is used in recipes for flammable projectiles, so players will want to stockpile it. This guide has information on where to find Kerosene in Days Gone Remastered.

Where to Find Kerosene in Days Gone Remastered
Kerosene is one of the most common ingredients in the Days Gone Remastered recipe. Players can find it at most major locations, including gas stations and abandoned warehouses. Kerosene is a flammable liquid, identifiable by its distinctive red and blue packaging. While it is common, players will find themselves running short if they aren't proactive in hunting it down, if they spend time clearing out Freaker Nests. Players can find Kerosene at the following locations.

How to Use Kerosene in Days Gone Remastered
Kerosene is used in the following recipes:
- Incendiary Bolt
- Molotov Cocktail
- Napalm Molotov
Med kits, weapons, and throwables are crafted in the inventory menu. Don't forget to replenish them often, as it can be hard to craft during combat moments. Players are introduced to Molotov cocktails early on in Days Gone Remastered, as they are used for clearing out Freaker nests in abandoned buildings.
Players can throw a Molotov at a nest, and it will flush the zombies out. Be ready with ammo and melee weapons when taking on nests, and attack at night for the best chances of remaining unseen. Napalm Molotovs are better quality than Molotov Cocktails and use more Kerosene, but they have a much bigger bang on contact.
If players are stealthy, they can burn the nest and hide. The zombies may wander off, but it will still count as clearing it.
Incendiary Bolts are higher-powered crossbow ammo. Freaks are inflamed when hit with them, and they do more damage. They can also be used to blow up gas barrels and big groups of zombies when taking on hordes, if players want to save their firearm ammo. Most of the ambush and infestation areas feature explosives scattered throughout the area that players can utilize tactfully.
