Days Gone Remastered is a game where players can benefit quite a bit when they take a stealthy approach to missions. While going in guns blazing sounds much more exciting, it can attract unwanted attention, especially during the nighttime when Freakers are out and more powerful. Sometimes, it's best to plan a strategy and go in silently, while slowly taking out enemies.
Days Gone: How to Store Weapons
Players can carry three ranged weapons at a time in Days Gone, and here's how to store their weapons and change their loadout.
A great way for players to avoid being spotted immediately is to attach a suppressor to the weapons they have equipped. This guide tells players what they need to know about silencers in Days Gone Remastered, so they can make sure that they have one available at all times and are aware of how to equip it.
How to Get a Suppressor in Days Gone Remastered
There are two ways to get silencers in Days Gone Remastered: players can either buy them or find them.
Where to Find Suppressors in Days Gone
To find suppressors in Days Gone Remastered, players have to open car hoods and check what's inside. It will either be a suppressor, an alarm, or scrap.
The type of suppressor depends on the size of the car, as it indicates whether it'll fit the player's primary, sidearm, or special weapon. Gamers looking for a sidearm suppressor should look under the hood of smaller cars, while those looking for a special weapon suppressor should loot SUVs and trucks.
Where to Buy Suppressors in Days Gone
Scrap is a much more common spawn when looting cars, so it's not a reliable method of finding silencers. Thankfully, players can visit encampments and buy suppressors in the Supplies tab at the gun Merchant. At Trust Level 1, camps will only sell sidearm silencers, but at Trust Level 2, primary and special weapon silencers will also be available for purchase.
- Sidearm suppressor: 30 credits
- Primary suppressor: 45 credits
- Special suppressor: 60 credits
How to Attach a Suppressor to a Weapon in Days Gone Remastered
Once players have a suppressor in Days Gone, they can attach it by opening the Survival Wheel, choosing the weapon category (primary, sidearm, or special), selecting the suppressor, and pressing the Attach button.
If the option to attach a silencer isn't there, then gamers might've found or purchased another type of suppressor, and they should check the other weapon categories.
Players can't attach a silencer to crossbows, but they don't emit sound anyway, so bolts are always shot silently, allowing Deacon to remain concealed.
