How to Get Into the Attic & Crawlspace in Date Everything

Most of the doors in Date Everything are unlocked right from the get-go, although there's one door upstairs that players won't be able to open right away. To unlock the attic door, they'll need to find a skeleton key, which is a lot easier said than done.

Those hoping to find the key to the attic will need to venture down into the crawl space, which is hidden away somewhere on the ground floor. The following guide will explain how to access the crawlspace, how to find the key, and how to open the attic door in Date Everything.

How to Access the Crawl Space in Date Everything

To get down into the crawl space, players will need to make their way to the boiler room, which can be accessed via the office on the ground floor. Once there, they should interact with the rug on the floor to roll it up and then click on the newly revealed trapdoor to open it. They'll then be able to climb down the ladder to get into the crawl space.

How to Get the Attic Door Key in Date Everything

Down in the crawl space, players will find three items. There's a time capsule (Bodhi Windbreaker), a mousetrap (Vaughn Trapp), and a key. Interacting with the latter while wearing the glasses will awaken Keith, who, after a short conversation, will agree to accompany the player upstairs and convince Dorian to unlock the attic door for them.

How to Unlock the Attic Door in Date Everything

Once they have the key, players should head up to the attic door and put on their glasses. Interacting with the door will lead to a short conversation between Keith and Dorian, quickly followed by a lingering embrace. Once it ends, the attack door will be unlocked. Inside, players can find a number of interesting items, including a safe (Sophia), some artwork (Artt), and a box of old Christmas decorations (Holly). If they go there at night, they can even find a ghost (Zoey).

Head to the boiler room, which is accessed via the downstairs office.
