Nelson appeared to be dead in Daredevil: Born Again, but major Daredevil fans have picked up on how Nelson has faked his own death before in the comic book. Many fans of the character have latched onto that idea, which is why showrunner Dario Scardapane spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the future of the character. He said, "As for Foggy, I am going to take the fifth on all of that with regards to the future. It's too much fun to give away."
