However, these bold promises echo past Marvel hype that didn’t quite hit the mark, like those made about Moon Knight. Interestingly, Moon Knight has once again become a hot topic on social media—not due to fan theories about its future, but because of Winderbaum’s recent comments about Daredevil. It seems the buzz has revived memories of Moon Knight’s lofty promises, sparking a nostalgic debate about whether Daredevil will truly deliver on its action-packed promises.

It's understandable why fans remain skeptical about hearing the term "brutal" when it comes to Marvel Television, especially with its association with Moon Knight. In 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige dubbed Moon Knight “brutal,” highlighting a shift in tone for the series. "He's brutal," Feige said, reflecting on the show’s intense moments and Disney+’s willingness to push boundaries. "There are moments [in the show] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, 'We're gonna pull back on this, right?" No. We're not pulling back. There's a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight." Two years since Moon Knight premiered on Disney+, fans are still buzzing about a possible second season, with the show occasionally trending as they hope for news. Despite this, there's still no official word on a Moon Night sequel, and it's looking less likely, given the mixed reception from fans and critics. Unlike previous series featuring familiar Avengers characters, Moon Knight was Marvel’s first attempt at a true origin story for Disney+, but despite its visual ambition and Oscar Isaac’s compelling performance in the lead role, the series ultimately fell short creatively.
