Dandadan Season 2 debuted last week, and even though the expectations were high, the anime delivered top-notch quality that impressed even the most fastidious fans. Dandadan seems to have everything it takes to once again be one of the biggest hits of the 2025 Summer Anime Season.
In this new season, Abel Góngora has joined Fuga Yamashiro as co-director at Studio Science Saru. Góngora has been working at the studio for years, and he was the director of the acclaimed Scott Pilgrim anime.

When Will Dandadan Season 2, Episode 3 Be Out?
Like most anime, including its first season, Dandadan Season 2 follows a weekly schedule. A new episode was released today, so Episode 3 will be released next Thursday (July 17) unless sudden changes take place. Episodes might be rescheduled if the studio is unable to deliver them on time, which rarely happens with Science Saru, or if external circumstances force a change to the schedule.
It's important to note that Dandadan Season 2 hits streaming platforms even earlier than it hits Japanese TV. As mentioned, the third episode will premiere in the US and Canada at 9:00 a.m. (ET) / 11:00 p.m. (PT) on July 17, 2025. But it will be broadcast in Japan a few minutes later, at 12:26 a.m. (JST) on July 18, 2025; that's 9:26 a.m. (PT) on July 17.

Dandadan Season 2 is available to stream in the US and Canada on the same platforms where Season 1 was released: Netflix, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. It is airing with simultaneous English subs and dubs, so fans can just pick their favorite option.
In other countries, it is likely available on Crunchyroll and Netflix, but it might also be on Disney+ since a few Hulu titles stream on these services in other countries. It may also be locally available on even more platforms, like Muse, which streams it in a few countries in Asia.
What to Expect from Dandadan Season 2?
After an amazing start with Episodes 1 and 2 (even though some fans didn't like a few things), Dandadan Season 2 seems more promising than ever. Although there were small changes in the direction with Góngora joining the main staff, the first episodes keep a similar tone to the previous season, and the quality of the animation is impressive so far. Fans loved the introduction of Evil Eye in Episode 2 (he actually appeared last season during a flashback).

The next episode will be the last episode featured in the Dandadan: Evil Eye movie, so everything that comes after it will be totally new to everyone. But with this solid start, fans can rest assured that this season will be even better than the first one.
When Will Dandadan End?
Dandadan is still in serialization on Shonen Jump+ (in Japanese) and MANGA Plus (in English and other languages). For now, there are no plans regarding when it will end. In fact, as far as we know, the series isn't even in its final arc, so there is probably still a long road ahead.
All chapters of the Dandadan manga can be read in English on MANGA Plus as long as readers purchase a paid subscription (any tier).
