The upcoming episodes will once again be streamed on Netflix and on Crunchyroll at the same time as the Japanese broadcast. According to official information, Studio Science SARU will once again be in charge of the animation. Abel Góngora will join Fuga Yamashiro as director of the series — he is a Spanish animator who has been working in the anime industry for a while now (especially in projects with Science SARU), and he previously directed Keep Your Hans Off Eizouken! (2020), and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off (2023).
A Sneak Peek Of Dandadan Season 2 Will Be Screened in Select Countries
Dandadan Season 2 will be officially released on July 3, 2025, but before then, some fans will be able to watch the first episodes on the big screens in select countries. That's because DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE, a compilation of the first three episodes of the next season, will have a theatrical run across countries in Asia, in Europe and in North America.
GKIDS has already confirmed that it will screen the Dandadan Season 2 sneak peek movie in theaters across the US and Canada on June 6 — presumably with subbed and dubbed options, as is customary for this type of release. So far, the release schedule for the film is as follows:
- Asia (excluding Japan): May 30
- North America: June 6
- Europe: June 7
The Dandadan manga, written and created by Yokinobu Tatsu, has been in serialization since 2021, with 19 volumes published so far — it is licensed in the US by VIZ Media. It was already quite a hit in Shonen Jump+ before the anime, but the anime boosted its popularity to the point where it became a much more solid series in terms of success.
