In the world of Dandadan, Ken Takakura, otherwise known as Okarun, is one of the main characters in the series. To explain about Okarun's abilities is to understand first how he got them. In the very beginning of the series, Okarun goes to investigate a supposedly haunted location which is linked to the spirit known as Turbo Granny, a malicious yokai (supernatural being/ghost). Okarun meets this entity and is forced to escape, but is unable to and ends up being cursed by her. In the process, she also steals Okarun's "family jewels" leaving him in a vulnerable state of mind. Momo and Okarun then make it their life's mission to retrieve Okarun's "family jewels" from Turbo Granny. However, in the process of being cursed, Okarun was also granted supernatural abilities as Turbo Granny's spirit infuses with him, giving him the ability to run at extraordinary speeds and with new-found abilities.
The point at which Okarun receives his powers is the turning point in the series, as he encounters aliens and powerful entities who he needs to defeat to protect his friends. He also learns to overcome fear and become stronger as he learns to take control of his powers. As his relationships with his friends grow stronger, so does his personality, as he takes on a role where his friends depend on him to pull through. Okarun understands this, and he develops the resilience he needs to fight off the ghosts and aliens he battles with.

Weaknesses, Strengths, and Insane Levels Of Speed?
Okarun's Turbo Granny form is his main form, after Turbo Granny's consciousness was extracted from him, Okarun was still able to use Turbo Granny's powers but did not have full control over them, and needed Momo to keep him in check, but later learns to transform at will. Because of his connection with Turbo Granny, Okarun is able to run at insane speeds, reaching up to 100km/hr. When he does this, it is known as going "All-out". This speed makes Okarun an extremely fast and powerful character in the series, as he is able to either run away from powerful enemies or prepare to run towards them at high speeds and combine a headbutt like attack, sort of like launching himself like a missile. He is also able to use this insane speed power as a defense mechanism by quickly avoiding head-on attacks from opponents. Another unique way in which Okarun uses "All-out" is by rotating his legs around his body like a helicopter to catch some air time.

Although Ken was once quite lonely, he did end up making some great friends after he crossed paths with Momo in Dandadan.
Telephone wire transportation is another ability that Okarun is able to use thanks to Turbo Granny. By using this ability, he is able to transport himself via telephone cables using magnetic fields. The telephone wire transportation ability can also amplify his speed if he continues to run after being ejected out of a telephone wire, making him impossible to spot, and allowing him to deliver a heavy blow. Apart from running at top-notch speeds and telephonic teleportation, Okarun is also able to use astral projection to separate his human body and roam as an astral projection.
This means he could fly and was invisible to people who did not have spiritual powers. While all his powers are extremely powerful, they do come with their own weaknesses. For example, Okarun is only able to use his "All-out" ability twice, and using it too much puts physical strain on his human body, making him feel weak. It can also be difficult to use telephone wire transportation if there are too many phone lines to travel on. His astral projection ability can backfire on him if he stays detached from his human body for too long, leaving him unable to get back into his body.
