Things got a lot more interesting in Dandadan Season 2 Episode 2. Previously, Momo, Okarun, and Jiji were exposed to the true nature of the Kito family. Before the reveal, Jiji had introduced them as generous landlords. However, it didn't take long for them to show their real colors. The Kito family wanted to use all three kids as sacrificial lambs and feed them to the Mongolian Death Worm.

After falling to the Mongolian Death Worm's location, the Kito family began performing a dance to appease the entity. However, the Mongolian Death Worm had no interest in it and immediately attacked them. Not long afterward, Momo and Okarun began to lose control of their minds. Only Jiji remained unfazed.

It was later revealed that the Evil Eye was defending Jiji from the waves emitted by the Mongolian Death Worm. It seemed that the Evil Eye was not evil, and it was trying to help Jiji. There was even a short sequence in which the Evil Eye was represented by a pale-looking boy. It was revealed that the Evil Eye was mistreated by people in the past and even offered as a sacrifice to keep the village safe.

After his death, the boy became visible to other children. But after the kids saw the spirit, their parents committed suicide. When Jiji went through the memories, he had only one goal in mind, and that was to free the boy. Turbo Granny warned him against it, but Jiji was too stubborn. Eventually, he ended up walking into a trap and gave up his body to the Evil Eye.

Upon losing his body's control to the Evil Eye, Jiji's appearance drastically changed. His body became purple, and he gained a new eye in the middle of his forehead. Jiji's power levels also skyrocketed, as evidenced by his handling of the Mongolian Death Worm. The latter had been wreaking havoc, but Jiji used his new powers to push it on the back foot.

While he is under the control of the Evil Eye, Jiji is not Okarun's or Momo's friend. He is a ruthless killing machine who will obliterate anyone who gets in his way. Jiji's Evil Eye form also allowed him to pummel Momo rather effortlessly. She could not match his strength and was ultimately overwhelmed by Jiji. Towards the end, Jiji was about to use his ball to finish off Momo, but Okarun arrived in the nick of time.

Jiji's Evil Eye Form Will Be Hard To Beat

As previously stated, Jiji's Evil Eye form grants him insanely powerful abilities. However, it must have a weakness. Okarun, Momo, and Turbo Granny need to work together to find the chink in the Evil Eye's armor and subdue it. In Dandadan Season 2 Episode 3, Okarun will engage Jiji in battle, while Momo and Turbo Granny look for a way to counter its power.

It is possible that Momo might try to reach out to Jiji's consciousness and hope that he fights the influence of the Evil Eye. If she is successful, Okarun's task will become a lot easier, and he will have to fight a distracted opponent. It is worth remembering that Jiji is a genius, and that's why he was targeted by the Evil Eye. It knew that getting ahold of Jiji's body would allow it to cause widespread destruction without anyone being able to stop it.

For the upcoming fight, Okarun and Momo have to be at their best. They will want to hold back because they don't want to harm Jiji, but the Evil Eye has no need to restrict itself. It can go all out and use its power to crush Momo and Okarun and then the rest of humanity.
