The second season of DANDADAN is going to be an even bigger phenomenon than the first season, and part of that is because of the Evil Eye arc.
About The Second Season of DANDADAN
The Most Anticipated Return of 2025?
The second season of DANDADAN was announced shortly after the cliffhanger ending of the first season, which aired from October to December 2024. The second season, which is set to arrive on July 3, was given the theatrical release treatment much like the first season, with the first three episodes being compiled into a movie to build anticipation for the upcoming season.
Despite suffering from leaks that had the first six episodes (so, half of the first season) prematurely released on the internet, the first season of DANDADAN quickly became one of the standout anime titles of 2024. The second season continues the Cursed House arc where the first season left off, and builds into the Evil Eye arc, which is for many, one of the best plotlines of the early series.
The English dub cast involved in the second season of DANDADAN includes Abby Trott (Shizuka, Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead) as Momo, A.J. Beckles (Takemichi Hanagaki, Tokyo Revengers) as Okarun, Aleks Le (Sung Jinwoo, Solo Leveling), the legendary Barbara Goodson (Rita Repulsa, Power Rangers) as Turbo Granny, Lisa Reimold (Falin, Delicious in Dungeon) as Aira, Kari Wahlgren (Fuu, Samurai Champloo) as Granny Seiko, Kaiji Tang (Satoru Gojo, JUJUTSU KAISEN) as Taro, Allegra Clark (Kycilia Zabi, Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX) as Hana, Morgana Ignis (Sallie May, Helluva Boss) as Naki Kito and Anne Yatco (Tonari, To Your Eternity) as The Evil Eye. DANDADAN season 2 is co-directed by Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora, with scripts by Hiroshi Seko, character designs by Naoyuki Onda, creature designs by Yoshimichi Kameda, colour design by Satoshi Hashimoto and Kondo Makiho, art direction by Junichi Higashi, sound direction by Eri Kitamura and music composed by kensuke ushio.
DANDADAN season 2 will premiere on July 3. The Evil Eye theatrical release becomes available in the United States and Canada on June 6.
