Dandadan Most Watched Anime On Netflix In 2024’s Second Half

Beat Anime Such as Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen

Dandadan is one of the most recent anime hits. In late 2024, it started airing, and concluded the first part of its first season. This series was definitely a hit with many fans, and it managed all of that with just 12 episodes. Of course, the anime will be coming back with the second part of Season 1, so its popularity will only grow.

Aside from the huge sales that his manga has been enjoying, one can look at Netflix views to see how big it has become.

Based on a recent report, the Dandadan anime has garnered over 19.6 Million Views just on Netflix. This number would make it the most watched anime on Netflix during 2024’s second half on the streaming website.

What’s more impressive is that Dandadan beat two huge series when it comes to views, Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen. In comparison, Demon Slayer, which was second, got 12.9 million views, with the Hashira Training arc specifically. Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen was third with a lot fewer views, around 8.1 million.

The difference between Dandadan and Jujutsu Kaisen is over 10 million, which is not a small feat to achieve.

One important thing to note, however, is that Dandadan was the only one of these series to be actively airing in the second half of 2024, so that definitely affected the views. Still, for a new series to surpass Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen is definitely impressive.
