Cyberpunk 2077 brings all sorts of improvements and gameplay tweaks with the long awaited 2.0 update and Phantom Liberty DLC. This includes many new vehicles made for the rough terrain of the Badlands and the Violent streets of Dogtown. The new Mackinaw Demiurge Monster Truck can only be found by interacting with a strange Easter egg hidden in Night City.
Players discovered this truck as part of another set of clues to a long-running CD Projekt Red easter egg hunt. This guide will not delve deeper into the new arcade machine, but instead only demonstrate how to unlock the monster truck in Cyberpunk 2077.
Enter The Church At The Protein Farm
Travel to the southern Badlands area below Night City to begin the sequence of events necessary to get the Demiurge. The Protein Farm is a fast travel point in the area with all the greenhouses.
Look in the area below the food vendor to find an open church and garage nearby. There are many tires hung on pipes as a sort of makeshift graveyard in front of it.
Use the Computer & Arcade Machine
Players will find an arcade machine and a computer inside the mysterious church.
Wait until exactly 4 A.M. In-game, then turn on the computer. Interact with all the files and messages so they count as read. Now use the new arcade machine.
Arasaka Tower 3D is a fun little Easter egg in its own right, as players take control of Johnny Silverhand in a throwback to old first-person shooters. Players have discovered more mysterious clues in this minigame, but players who just want the monster truck simply need to start up the game, and then exit.
Find the Badlands Mattress
Without any sort of fast travel or time skipping used players need to drive over to the eastern Badlands area. There is an old mattress in the dirt right off the road.
Look carefully for it on the floor. Take note of the plume of smoke and sign in the distance. The mattress is at the b ottom of a path in front of a cactus. Be careful, as there is another sign to the right that may throw players off.
Remain idle on this mattress. As long as the player made it to the mattress around 4 or 5 A.M., it should work. Sit back and relax, as this may take a while. Eventually V will begin coughing and experience a Relic malfunction. A mysterious figure will appear, and then V will wake up to a bizarre scene. The Mackinaw Demiurge will be nearby along with a computer. Drive it away, and the monster truck will be in V's phone as one of their vehicles.
