Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course - What to do with Broken…

In Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, players will find themselves in a new area with a couple of new bosses to face off with. And in typical Cuphead fashion, there are a couple of secrets hidden on the island for the die-hard fans to figure out.

One of these secrets is the Broken Relic item. Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course players can purchase the Broken Relic for just one coin by visiting Porkrind's Emporium. However, the game doesn't say what to do with this strange item. This is where this guide comes into play.

After obtaining the Broken Relic, players should equip it in the menu. While it doesn't do anything just yet, it'll need to be equipped in order for the next steps to work.

What to do with the Broken Relic in Cuphead

Just next to the shop where the Relic was purchased, players will see three characters who have just finished up some climbing competition.

The one in the middle won first place, the one on the left won second place, and the one on the right got third place. Their positioning is important to solving the graveyard puzzle.

This will be different for every player, but speak to each character in the order of their ranking (first, second, third), and each will give a directional hint for the graveyard puzzle (which is just a few steps south of the shop).

Take note of what each of them said, and then go to the gravestones nearby.

Cuphead DLC Graveyard Ghost Puzzle Solution

Now, stand in front of the middle gravestone, and then players will need to interact with three of the gravestones, but they need to be touched in order of the mountain climbing participants.

For example, if the first place winner says this: "leave it to an upright citizen like me to win this whole thing," then players should first touch the gravestone in the upper-right corner.

And if the second place winner says something about a different direction, use the clue to find the second gravestone. And then speak to the third one for that last clue.

If done correctly, the game will ask players if they would like to take a nap. Choose yes to enter a secret boss battle against an angel and devil duo.

A Horrible Night to Have a Curse Achievement

After defeating the Cuphead boss battle, players will end up back in the overworld and will have unlocked a trophy/achievement called A Horrible Night to Have a Curse, as well as a repaired broken relic, which is now called the Cursed Relic.

What Does the Cursed Relic Do?

Cuphead players can now equip the Cursed Relic as one of their charms. And every time players shoot their weapon, it'll change into a random weapon. It'll also bring players down to just one health point.
