Does Cult of the Auto-Save?

Cult of the Lamb has an auto-save feature that regularly saves the game whenever a new day begins, a crusade ends, or the player travels to one of the six locations in the game: Lonely Shack, Smuggler's Sanctuary, Pilgrim's Passage, Cult of the Lamb HQ, Midas's Cave, and Spore Grotto. So, to trigger an auto-save in Cult of the Lamb, the player has to:

  • Wait until morning
  • Return to the cult after a crusade
  • Travel to any location on the map

Whenever Cult of the Lamb is auto-saving, a symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen.

How to Save Manually

To save manually in Cult of the Lamb, players have to enter the pause menu and press the "Save" button. Once the game has successfully saved, the word "Saved" will appear where "Save" was before.

Gamers will not be able to manually save while on a crusade in Cult of the Lamb; they must complete it and return to the cult before they can save the game.
