Cult of the Lamb has gotten a few updates after its release, but Woolhaven DLC is the first of its kind. Woolhaven DLC will be about as big as the base game, meaning players can have multiple hours of fun managing their cult and going on crusades.
This DLC will unlock a new area and missions, so it's not automatically applied to the game like the previous additions. Therefore, this article will explain how to start the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb.
Cult Of The Lamb: All Fleeces, Ranked
Fleeces in Cult of the Lamb have their own benefits and drawbacks - here's how each one stacks up against each other.
How To Start The Woolhaven DLC In Cult Of The Lamb
To start the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb, players must beat the four Bishops and offer four items to the Yngya statue. You don't need to beat The One Who Waits to begin the downloadable content.
When you return to the cult, Yngya's statue will appear on your right, near the teleporter. Interact with it to offer the required items. However, even though you can offer the items early, Woolhaven will not unlock until you beat the four Bishops.
The Lamb must prepare these items as offerings:
Items |
Where to Find |
|---|---|
5 Menticide Mushrooms |
5 Crystals |
5 Spider Silk |
1 Sin |
Sin is a mechanic added on January 16, 2024. So, if your save is older than that, you may need to catch up on generating Sin in Cult of the Lamb.
After offering the Crystals, the Lamb will meet Gofernon, who can expand the Cult HQ in exchange for Gold Bars. There are a total of three expansions available, which will cost 10, 18, and 30 Gold Bars for the first, second, and third upgrades, respectively. In total, you must prepare 58 Gold Bars to offer Gofernon.
On top of a new land that's almost as big as the original HQ area, players will also unlock a new follower form, which unsurprisingly resembles Gofernon.
Before starting the Woolhaven DLC in Cult of the Lamb, players will get a warning that states that a save file will only be playable with the Woolhaven DLC installed once they activate it. However, the normal base game save will be backed up and is available from the main menu. So, if you change your mind later or don't like the Woolhaven DLC, you will still have your previous save to come back to.
