In the Coronations DLC for Crusader Kings 3, newly crowned rulers can elect to swear an Oath at the end of the Coronation activity. There are many Oaths to choose from, and the ruler then has a few decades to meet certain requirements related to the Oath, allowing them to gain on-theme rewards. If, however, they fail to live up to their Oath in the allotted time, they will take a meaningful hit to their Legitimacy, Prestige, Stress, and vassal opinions.
Crusader Kings 3: Best Personality Traits
In Crusader Kings 3, personality traits play a huge role in how a character operates. These examples are some of the best.
With buffs on the line and Legitimacy at stake, which could snowball into losing control of the throne, players will want to know which are the easiest Oaths to fulfill in CK3's Coronations.
Players won't always have every type of Oath available, as some are conditional. For example, Secure Alliances is only available to those who start with 1 or fewer allies, as otherwise it's not something a ruler needs to work on.
The Easiest Oaths To Fulfill In Crusader Kings 3's Coronations
The following Oaths are the easiest to fulfill for most characters. Until changes are made, these Oaths have more realistic objectives to complete within the allotted time limit. This isn't to say that all the other Oaths are impossible, but they are generally harder or more niche.

The Secure Alliances Oath isn't too hard, especially for those with a Diplomacy focus and the best Diplomacy Perks in CK3. However, the requirement that one of the allies must be at minimum a tier below can make this more difficult for Emperors, as they would need to be allied with a King-Tier ruler.

The Ensure Peace Oath isn't too hard to achieve, as players have 50 years to find just 5 years of peace. It's easy not to declare war, and it's not uncommon to go 5 years without war being declared on you, especially if you keep all vassals happy. However, this Oath is rarely offered, as the realm must have been at war within the last year before the coronation. There wouldn't be much point in a ruler boasting of bringing peace to an already peaceful realm.

As many play Crusader Kings 3 to expand their borders already, this Oath will complement ambitious campaigns. It's even possible to gain land without war in CK3. The only difficulty would be if players start as a large realm, such as the Holy Roman Empire, as increasing the realm by 1.3x becomes a lot harder. For small kingdoms such as Bohemia, they may only have to increase the realm size from 14 to 19, for example.

The Shape the Realm Oath is hard in the early game, but if players have lots of Gold and a focus on Stewardship with a specialization in building, then it becomes much easier. As there are only 15 years to do so, try constructing multiple buildings at once across different holdings. Upgrades also count and some are fairly cheap and fast.
Crusader Kings 3: Best Cultural Traditions
Cultural Traditions in CK3 can impart massive benefits for players who know how to capitalize on them.
Take No Oath
There is also the option to take No Oath, and players should not feel bad for going with this. Oaths can be hard to fulfill, and they can also feel like guardrails on a playthrough. The N o Oath option is good for:
- Rulers in dire straits, potentially facing civil war or debt.
- Players who prefer to see how things play out.
- Players who prefer to focus on lots of elements of their rule.
- Beginner CK3 players who have more important mechanics to learn.
The Crusader Kings 3 community has been fairly vocal about Oath objectives being too hard and restrictive, so there may be future patches to make other oaths not listed easier. The same can hopefully be said for bugs preventing some Oaths from successfully completing.
