CK3 AGOT is a Song of Ice and Fire mod for Crusader Kings 3, and allows players to step into the shoes of their favorite characters from George R.R. Martin's series. Even as a total conversion mod, the development team have gone above in beyond in bringing the world of Game of Thrones to life.

In addition to the wealth of characters, lore, and unique flavor events, some of the best things to be added to the CK3 AGOT mod are artifacts, which can be used by players who own the Royal Court DLC for Crusader Kings 3. These artifacts include armor, swords, and crowns. Fans will either recognize them from the show, or from their book descriptions.

7 Brightroar

Lost Sword of the Lannister Kings of Old

CK3 AGOT Tywin Lannister With Brightroar

Brightroar is a Valyrian Steel sword that once belonged to House Lannister before it was lost in the ruins of Valyria along with the Lannister King who wielded it. Astute book readers will know that Tyrion's uncle Gerion once set out in search of this sword, but never returned.

In CK3 AGOT, players can also attempt to salvage this lost relic when playing as a Lannister. To do so, they must spend a vast sum of gold and bear in mind that success is far from guaranteed. If they are lucky enough or simply persistent though, the beauty of this artifact is arguably worth the cost, especially for a family as rich as the Lannisters.

6 The Crown Of Aegon I

Valyrian Circlet of the Conqueror of Westeros

CK3 AGOT The Mad King With Aegon I's Crown

Players starting out as Aerys II, the Mad King, have access to many crowns of the former Targaryen kings. Beyond each of these crowns possessing vastly different aesthetics, they also offer players a variety of different bonuses. Players looking to min-max might want to switch up the crown they wear depending on the situation.

One of the most iconic crowns is the crown of Aegon the Conqueror, the very first Targaryen king. This Valyrian Steel circlet set with square-cut rubies appears just how it was described in the books. It gives players 3 Martial, 0.2 Prestige per month, and 2% monthly Renown.

5 Dawn

Unique Sword Wielded by Ser Arthur Dayne

CK3 AGOT Ser Arthur Dayne With Dawn Sword

The Sword of the Morning, Ser Arthur Dayne, is one of the greatest swordsmen in the history of Westeros and wields one of the most unique swords available in the CK3 AGOT mod. Dawn was supposedly forged from the heart of a fallen star and is thus different from the other fabled swords found throughout Westeros, which are predominantly made of Valyrian Steel.

Only the most worthy knights of House Dayne are given the privilege of wielding Dawn. Players who are given the privilege will gain 9 Prowess, 5% Monthly Renown and a substantial 15 General Opinion, on top of some monthly Prestige.

4 The Driftwood Crown

Ritualistic Crown of the Ironborn Greyjoys

CK3 AGOT Balon Greyjoy With The Driftwood Crown

The Ironborn are arguably the most distinct cultural group in Westeros, with only the various free-folk north of the Wall as real contenders. If players are able to gain the title of King of The Iron Islands, with a member of House Greyjoy or another, then they will be able to proudly wear one of the most unique crowns in the mod.

Crusader Kings 3: Best Landless Adventurers In The Game Of Thrones Mod

With the Roads to Power DLC for CK3, players can step into the shoes of Landless Adventurers in CK3 AGOT.

Unlike other crowns which are traditionally made out of metals like Gold, the Driftwood Crown is unsurprisingly made out of driftwood. It looks absolutely incredible in CK3 AGOT.

3 Ice

Executioner's Sword of the Honorable Eddard Stark

CK3 AGOT Eddard Stark

The ever-honorable Eddard Stark is one of the best starting rulers for CK3 AGOT. Players who opt to play as the Lord of Winterfell will also get their hands on the ancestral Valyrian Steel sword of House Stark, Ice.

This iconic sword looks great in the game, showing off Valyrian Steel ripples. What's more, it also provides the player with a whopping 9 Prowess, 5% monthly Renown, and some Prestige, as well as reducing the negative opinions incurred at the beginning of a reign.

2 The Kingsguard Armor & Cloaks

Stylish Armor of the King's Sworn Protectors

CK3 AGOT Ser Barristan Selmy In Kingsguard Armor

Despite the Kingsguard featuring prominently in both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, it is easy to argue that their armor has never looked as good as it does in CK3 AGOT.

The polished white armor looks great on all of the Kingsguard members, from Barristan the Bold to Jaime Lannister. Players can even make their sworn protectors wear matching white helmets too. While it isn't possible play as a member of the Kingsguard, the armor and cloaks are easily some of the best looking items in the mod.

1 Rhaegar's Armor

Iconic Battle Armor of one of the Last Targaryens

CK3 AGOT Rhaegar Targaryen

Seeing as the main bookmark at the release of CK3 AGOT is Robert's Rebellion, Robert's sworn rival Rhaegar Targaryen is naturally at the forefront of the mod. Amazingly, Rhaegar's iconic black armor, with the three-headed dragon of his house etched on the breastplate in rubies, has been wonderfully recreated.

If players are able to stay alive as Rhaegar, which is no easy feat with Robert in the field, this armor will provide them with 5 Prowess, 0.5 Prestige per month, 5 Dynasty Opinion, and even plus 10 Attraction Opinion.

Crusader Kings 3 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
