Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is home to some unusual and mysterious Materia, accessories, and items, but the Gold Rolling Pin is arguably one of the most elusive. Obtaining these strange key items can be difficult to do, depending on where the player opts to explore, but possessing a few of them will more than likely lead Zack to get some pretty good gear.

While Gold Rolling Pins may not sound too important, they will save the player a great deal of time during the post-game, especially if they hope to acquire the best equipment in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion.

What To Do With Gold Rolling Pins

Gold Rolling Pin in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion

The Gold Rolling Pin doesn't have any practical purpose in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. The game doesn't explicitly state what the player should do with one, but the item's description in the Items menu provides a pretty decent clue. It reads "Convert to money and see...," which in itself is pretty mysterious.

Selling the Gold Rolling Pin in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion

Though it reads a little strange, this description is essentially informing the player to sell the Gold Rolling Pins whenever they get their hands on some. While most items in the game can fetch decent prices, selling the Gold Rolling Pins will reward Zack with 50,000 Gil, which makes them pretty essential if the player wishes to buy expensive items.

Farming Gold Rolling Pins can make buying expensive items much easier, especially accessories like the Genji Helm, which costs a staggering 1,000,000 Gil. Not only does the Gil obtained by selling Gold Rolling Pins make purchasing expensive items much easier, but it can also be used to dish out some serious damage thanks to the Gil Toss Materia, which allows Zack to throw the Gil he has acquired at his enemies.

Zack can find several Gold Rolling Pins on his journey, but most of them can only be acquired by completing certain missions. Obtaining the pins is relatively easy, but unlocking the missions themselves can often prove to be quite difficult.

There are three missions in Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion that Zack can obtain Gold Rolling Pins from. It is the primary reward for completing the M6-6-4: Secret on the Plains mission, which becomes available during Chapter 2. It can also be obtained by searching the treasure chests scattered throughout the M4-4-1: A New Threat and M8-6-1: Notice missions.

For those who wish to obtain more than three Gold Rolling Pins, they can also steal the item from the Holy Tonberry enemy found wandering the M9-6-2: The Lowest Tier mission. Zack will need to be quite powerful if he hopes to defeat this iconic Final Fantasy mascot, but stealing from it shouldn't be too difficult so long as the player possesses the Mog Amulet, an unusual accessory that guarantees rare steals no matter what.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.
