Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3 Release Date and Time

Criminal Minds premiered in 2005 and featured an all-star cast including Mandy Patinkin and Matthew Gray Gubler. Many episodes featured well-known guest stars such as Tim Curry and Amber Heard in memorable and haunting roles, which helped set the show apart from other procedurals. The team members at the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) are sharp and perceptive, which is one reason why it was sad when it seemed like the show was concluding after season 15. Fans cheered when they learned the show would keep going under the name Criminal Minds: Evolution, and there have been two new seasons so far.

While the popular series has two spinoffs, neither has been as successful as the original procedural. Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior aired for one season in 2011, and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders aired for two seasons from 2016 to 2017. Where And When To Watch Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3

Criminal Minds: Evolution season 3 will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday May 8th, 2025. The season will have 10 episodes, and episodes 2 through 9 will stream on Paramount+ every subsequent Thursday until July 10, 2025. New episodes are said to be available 12:00 a.m. P.T. Or 3:00 a.m. ET as that is usually the case.

While Criminal Minds: Evolution is a reboot, season 3 is also sometimes referred to as Criminal Minds season 18 since it continues the original story that began when the show premiered in 2005. While some reboots take a long time and fans have been hoping for more A Nightmare On Elm Street for several years, Criminal Minds season 15 aired in 2020, and the reboot began streaming in 2022.

In March 2025, Deadline reported that Paramount+ renewed Criminal Minds for season 4, which proves the ongoing popularity of the series.

What Will Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3 Be About?

The Criminal Minds: Evolution showrunner Erica Messer shared some details about season 3 in an interview with Us Weekly. Messer mentioned that the new episodes will feature Gold Star group of serial killers. She said:
