WWE's happy, if rather overly-affectionate, couple of Corey Graves (Matthew Polinsky) and Carmella (Leah Van Dale) have officially tied the knot as of this past Friday, April 8, 2022, after a few weeks' worth of storyline teases on WWE Raw, and some familiar faces turned up at the wedding to take part in the newlyweds' celebration, including one of AEW's veteran megastars.

The highly-publicized wedding comes a little over a month after the debut of the WWE lovebirds' new YouTube reality show, aptly titled Corey & Carmella, which takes a rather "intimate" look at the sports entertainment couple's growing relationship in their off-time from WWE television. Speaking of off-time, with Graves off on his honeymoon for the next few weeks, longtime Raw announcer and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler has been slated to fill in for the "Savior of Misbehavior" until his return.

The wedding took place in Florida and appeared as a very relaxed, casual and friendly environment, reinforced by the appearance of AEW wrestler Jon Moxley and his wife Renee Paquette. Moxley himself took liberal advantage of the casual affair, coming dressed in black boots, black pants, a black leather jacket, and a Cincinnati Bengals shirt, capped off with a fanny pack, of all things, to complete the unique ensemble. Many WWE superstars were in attendance as well, including Sonya Deville, "Happy" Corbin, Tamina Snuka, Natalya Neidhart and her husband TJ, as well as former multiple-time Women's Champion Bayley.

The amorous couple began dating in 2019 and made headlines, albeit not for the best of reasons, when Amy Polinsky née Schneider, Graves' ex-wife, directly indicated in various interviews that Carmella was a critical factor in her marriage to Graves coming to a rather rough end. Despite the controversial beginnings, the WWE couple stayed together and laid low, both on and off-screen for the next couple of years, getting to know one another better, until Graves popped the question to Carmella on her birthday in October 2021. While their relationship had its inauspicious beginnings and the overt sex appeal of their reality show leaves a lot to be desired, one does not wish ill on a couple's sacred day, so it is always good to see two people who consider one another their best friend to find happiness with each other in the here and now and going on towards the future.

With Graves having received clearance to return to the ring as of January 2022, nearly eight years after a seemingly career-ending concussion in 2014, it should be interesting to see if he decides to take a more active role in backing up his wife on WWE television.
