The tropical island is home to plenty of unique and valuable resources. Some of these are found lying around, but others are not that simple to find. Islanders can obtain many resources by mining rocks, diving underwater, logging wild trees, or processing raw materials with special equipment. General Resources

Item	How to Get
Wood	Cut down trees, stumps, logs, or branches with an axe. Often found in boxes inside the cavern. Available at the Carpenter’s shop for 10 gold.
Hardwood	Chop logs around the island with a Silver axe Available at the Carpenter’s shop for 150 gold.
Fiber	Remove weeds with a scythe, axe, or pickaxe. Cut grass with a scythe Rummage through trash cans
Cotton	Grow it on the farm using Cotton seeds
Stone	Break rocks around the island with a pickaxe Often found in destructible boxes
Trash	Clear trash piles with a scythe Often found inside trash cans or while fishing
Scrap	Clear trash or search for trash cans Process 2 pieces of Trash or Flyer in a Recycling machine for 30 minutes.
Compost	Till the ground with a hoe Compost 2 pieces of Trash inside a Compost Bin for 30 minutes Available at the Harvest Festival shop for 10 gold
Sap	Chop trees with an axe Rummage through trash cans
Coal	Break rocks with a pickaxe Burn 4 pieces of wood in a Kiln for 30 minutes to prepare Coal Available at the Sanchez Brothers Blacksmith shop for 60 gold.
