Introduced to Cookie Run: Kingdom alongside the Eternal Sugar Cookie, Boss Rush is a new limited-time event that will run throughout the new season of the game, delivering some intense boss battles at every step, while also bringing a new system for cookie compositions.

With the arrival of Synergy Ideas, players should now choose the roles within the squad carefully. Maximizing the damage output is no longer the only way to beat bosses, as smarter cookie compositions will unleash more powerful buffs that benefit the player more than higher raw attack rates.

How To Get Synergy Idea Buffs

Before battling a boss in Boss Rush, the player will receive a new button on the squad edit page known as Synergy Ideas. If you click on it, a long list of buffs will appear, but enabling each buff requires you to have a certain number of certain roles within the squad.

The good news is that players can activate multiple buffs simultaneously if they build their squad in a way that meets the requirements for multiple Synergy buffs. This, of course, depends on your collection of cookies as well. Having one or more instances of each role from higher rarities like Legendary, Beast, Ancient, or Super Epic can boost the damage output significantly while activating buffs.

Do note that it's always best to practice with each team composition before entering the real battle. Before choosing to fight the boss, you will spot a Practice button that allows you to test your current squad and see how much damage it deals. This also helps to get familiar with the boss' abilities, as some of them have special abilities like stun.
