Lyle in Code Vein 2 is one of many heroes that have been sealed across the map. After defeating him, similar to every other hero, players will find his fading bond, which they will not be able to interact with at this time. His fading bond quest is quite short in comparison to the other heroes, but the boss fights are still as challenging and can take a lot of attempts, especially if players are underleveled. How to Repair Lyle's Fading Bond (Lyle Quest Guide) in Code Vein 2
Once the fight is over, fast travel to MagMell and head back to the 2187: Free Exploration Era. Fast travel to the Forward Base One: North Mistle, and you can find Lyle there. Talk to him, and he will mention making a grave.
Head back to the present and make your way back to the same Mistle. This time, you will find a shining item next to the grave, which is Lyle's Rusted Sword. Grab it and interact with the fading bond to go back to the past.
Once in the past, fast travel to the Pioneer Castle and talk to Craig, who is next to the "In Front of Command Room" Mistle. He will mention that there are more threats to deal with, and Lyle has made his way to a mine northwest of here. After the cutscene, Craig will join you, and you have to make your way down to the entrance of the Sealed Great Mine.
Head inside the mine northwest of Pioneer Castle to find Lyle inside, and you will have to explore the dungeon. There are a few chests with Formae and weapons along the way, so be sure to pick these up if you want to try them out. Once you reach the blocked path, interact with the bond to play out a memory and ready yourself afterwards for the boss fight.
After you defeat the boss, you will get Pioneer Queen Imogen (Blood Code) and will forge a summoning pact with Craig. You will also get the Guardian trophy/achievement. Now you can head back to the present and make your way to the Pioneer Castle. You will get the "An Undying Vow" trophy/achievement along the way.
There should be only one Mistle you can fast travel to, and once you reach the area outside the cocoon, head down the elevator on the left. Talk to Craig, and he will join to help you unseal and defeat Hero Lyle.
Make your way to the cocoon and undo the seal to initiate the boss fight. The first phase of the boss fight isn't that hard, but the boss can close the gap in an instant. He powers up a lot in the second phase while doing area-wide attacks, so you need to always stay on your feet. Once you defeat him, you will get the Hero Lyle (Blood Code).
You will get the "A Journey Beyond Measure" trophy/achievement for defeating Hero Lyle, and his fading bond quest will be complete.
