Soon after releasing and defeating the Hero Holly in Code Vein 2’s Undead Forest, players will encounter Holly’s fading bond, as with every other hero. How to Repair Holly's Fading Bond (Holly Quest Guide) in Code Vein 2
From the Withered Greenhouse, talk to Monica, who is inside the same building. She will tell you that there are remnants of Camillo found in two different locations in Undead Forest. You can visit any location first, so head on over to the Ruined Town. You might have already explored this location, but in case you haven’t, you can find a few chests in the town with weapons inside.
You need to deal with any enemies that come in your way while trying to find the person who holds Camillo's remnant. Defeat them, and you will see a small scene with Camillo.
Make your way to the Sanatorium for the second pathos. Inside the Sanatorium, go straight, then turn left to exit through the back door. There should be a few enemies that you should deal with, and in the same area is the powerful elite who holds the second remnant. Defeat them to watch another memory with Camillo. Near this enemy is also a map jammer that you can destroy to reveal the map layout of this building.
With both remnants in your possession, make your way back to the Withered Greenhouse and interact with Holly's bond. You will find yourself inside a temporal rift where you must interact with the monument on the right. Now, head through the fog gate to fight Retainer of Idris. This boss has quite a lot of health, but takes more damage if you hit the golden tentacles it has on its back.
The boss has a very annoying habit of grabbing you with the same tentacles, so that is an attack you need to watch out for.
Once the boss is defeated, you will get Idris's Talon weapon and can go through the open door to find another interactable monument. Do so, and you will be teleported to the past.
Fast travel to the Sanatorium and head left to talk to Holly. After the conversation with Holly, head up the elevator to where you heard the noise.
Go with Holly through the rooms, watching memories of her parents. Soon, you will run into enemies, and after that, you will fall into a hole that leads you to the Sanatorium Underground Facility. Navigate past the rooms here to get back to the main building, and after a cutscene, you can head over to the Memory Realm.
This is a fairly large area where you must watch your step to not fall down. At the Inner Depths Mistle, level up and customize your weapon if you want, because this is the last checkpoint before a powerful boss fight. Head through the fog gate to fight Camillo Asturias.
The jump attack is quite delayed, so do not spam your parry or dodge early, because otherwise, you will take a lot of damage.
Once the fight is over, you will get the Family Man trophy/achievement. After this, a cutscene will play, and you will return to the Sanatorium. You will get the Lost Camillo (Blood Code) and can now call on Holly as a partner. Make your way back to the present.
After talking to Monica, head over to the Sanatorium to find the cocoon now located here. You will now get the Life in Full Bloom trophy/achievement. Head inside the building and talk to Camillo, after which you can head back out and release Holly.
Holly is a very challenging boss, mainly because of her Gatling gun attack, where she forms an ice field around her. This makes it so you cannot get into close range with her, and the gunfire is extremely difficult to successfully dodge out of. You need to run in the opposite direction of the fire and dodge when the bullets come close to you.
Defeat the Hero Holly, and this will complete her arc as well as give you the Hero Holly (Blood Code). You will also get the Warm Rays trophy/achievement.
