Warzone 2 introduced various Faction Missions, such as the Non-discriminatory mission and the Flight Risk mission, which require players to complete a series of tasks. Flight Risk is a Tier 2 Redaction mission that tasks players with finding, collecting, and using several new items on the Al Mazrah map.

This challenge is among the most difficult missions to complete in Warzone 2's DMZ mode, as most players get stranded finding and locating the required objects. However, finishing the task is crucial to earning 10,000 XP and a Double XP Token.

What Are the Objectives of the Warzone 2 Flight Risk Mission?

There are 3 objectives in this mission:

  • Find and acquire Heavy Chopper Fuel.
  • Refuel the Heavy Chopper.
  • Exfiltrate with the heavy chopper from Al-Mazrah.

Players can only complete the Flight Risk Mission in Al Mazrah.

How to Complete the Flight Risk Mission

To complete the Warzone 2 Flight Risk challenge, players must first acquire the Heavy Chopper Fuel, which will be used to refuel the Heavy Chopper in the second objective. The Heavy Chopper Fuel spawns various locations on Al Mazrah, but the most common areas players can find the fuel are the cargo train, the hanger in the Al-Malik Airport control tower, and the destroyed Zaya Observatory. The cargo train is a hot spot for other players due to the massive amount of loot it has, so be careful and quick when retrieving the fuel (there’s only one canister in the train). Similarly, the AI heavily guards Al-Malik, and players may run into other operators.

After acquiring the fuel, use it to refuel the Heavy Chopper. Find the Heavy Chopper on the tac map and head over. It’s usually found on one of Hafid Port’s docks, but there’s only one available in every deployment. So, if a player doesn’t find it, they can’t complete the mission in that deployment and have to try in another. The Heavy Chopper has received many complaints since some players camp in its area to take down fellow operators, but COD has made some changes to this.

After finding the chopper, board and refuel it using the fuel acquired in step one (hovering over the fuel triggers the refueling process). Now that the Heavy Chopper is refueled, players can complete the third and last objective. To exfiltrate the Heavy Chopper from Al Mazrah, pilot the plane into the out-of-bounds region on Al Mazrah. These are marked by red borders on the tac map. Once done, the Flight Risk Mission is complete, and players get 10,000 XP and a Double XP Token.
