The limited-time events in Call of Duty keep on coming. Although the focus is switching to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's release, Sledgehammer Games and Activision are continuing to inject breaths of fresh air into Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone.
The Season 6 update for multiplayer and the battle royale sees the return of Michael Myers alongside The Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon as The Haunting makes its anticipated return. One event arriving to celebrate spooky season is the Trick 'r Treat: Candy Hunt, another opportunity for players to earn all kinds of rewards. Trick 'R Treat: Candy Hunt Event Start Date
The Trick 'r Treat: Candy Hunt arrives in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on October 2. This is the same date as when The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event comes to an end meaning there's no downtime when it comes to earning exclusive rewards.
The event concludes on October 16 giving players a fortnight to obtain all of the rewards that are up for grabs.
How To Earn Rewards
Most events in Call of Duty require players to complete a set number of challenges or to earn tens of thousands of XP to earn rewards. For the Trick 'R Treat: Candy Hunt event, players are tasked with collecting candy during matches.
The Call of Duty blog mentions 'some will be tricks, some will be treats,' suggesting players could be in for a fright if they manage to choose a trick during multiplayer and battle royale matches.
Earning candies fills the King Size bar. When the bar is full, players can get their hands on the 'ultimate treat.' Details on what the treat entails haven't appeared yet but we expect it to be a unique weapon camouflage or an Operator skin that's guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.

The full list of the Trick 'r Treat: Candy Hunt event rewards hasn't yet been announced, but there's a strong possibility the event follows the same pattern as other in-game events. Based on what's featured in previous events, here are all of the items and rewards expected to appear:

The Trick 'r Treat: Candy Hunt event is one of five events arriving across Call of Duty during the final season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and the Urzikstan era of Call of Duty: Warzone. These events are the last time players can obtain themed rewards before players begin loading into Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on October 25.
