The Call of Duty franchise often participates in community development and charity events geared towards helping others and raising funds. One of their most coveted non-profit charity organizations is the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps military veterans find high-quality careers. In support of the charity, CoD developers introduced a real veteran player as an operator in Modern Warfare 3.

This marks the first time Call of Duty has added an operator based on a real-life veteran (Ben), who served for 16 years in Africa, Iraq, and Afghanistan and was a member of SEAL Team 6. In honor of Ben and his sacrifice and contribution, CoD has created the True Legends Event, where players can play using Ben’s Operator skin to level up and earn rewards. What is The True Legends Event in Modern Warfare 3?

The True Legends Event in Modern Warfare 3 is designed to honor military veterans. Participating players get to level up and earn unique rewards, such as the Koa King operator, which is based on the former military veteran, Ben. Activision initially announced that the True Legends Event would start on November 15, 2023, and run until November 22, 2023. However, the event is yet to go live, and Activision has acknowledged the delay in a tweet stating that they will announce a later date.

How to Participate in The True Legends Event in Modern Warfare 3

To participate in the True Legends Event, players should simply play the game and earn XP once the event goes live. However, players who want to earn more unique rewards and level up quickly must purchase the Call of Duty Endowment Warrior Pack, retailing at $9.99. This is the only pack with the Koa King operator skin, among other unique rewards.
