Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 2 arrives with a boatload of content right from the start. How Does the Mars Leaderboard Event Work in Black Ops 7 Zombies?
The Mars Leaderboard Event functions similarly to previous Leaderboard Events in Black Ops 7 Zombies, most notably the Astra Malorum Event. In this event, players are put onto a leaderboard against 29 other random players. However, unlike other leaderboards, players' placement is determined by the highest round they reach, with the player who reaches the highest round taking first place, and players with lower rounds filling out the remaining positions.
The highest round, and therefore placement on the leaderboard at the end of the event, will determine what rewards players receive. There is also an additional set of challenge rewards that players can unlock right away by surviving a certain number of rounds, completely independent of the leaderboard itself.

When Does The Mars Leaderboard Event End in Black Ops 7 Zombies?
The Mars Leaderboard Event officially began on February 5 at 9 AM PT with the release of Season 2. It will run for a total of four days, ending on Monday, February 9, at 10 AM PT. This is also the time when all placement rewards will be awarded to those who participated. Any rewards that have not been obtained by this date cannot be claimed again in the future.
