Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has entered Season 2, bringing a massive wave of updates to keep players busy from launch through to the midseason update. With a variety of maps and modes to try out, Mars Survival arriving at launch for Zombies, followed by the next major chapter in the Zombies saga in Season 2 Reloaded, there is plenty for players to look forward to.
There are also plenty of unique rewards to grind for, from the debut of new Weekly Challenges to a free Blueprint for players who complete an Easter Egg in Warzone’s Rebirth Island. However, one particular Camo reward across both games has left many players stumped. Here is how to unlock the Thermal Breach Camo in Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
All Win Streak Camo Rewards in COD Warzone
Call of Duty: Warzone has received new Camos for Season 2, which can be unlocked by racking up consecutive wins. Here's the intel.
How to Get the Thermal Breach Camo in Black Ops 7 & Warzone
The Thermal Breach Camo is definitely one of the more elusive camos in both Black Ops 7 and Warzone, as the requirements to unlock it are not specified in-game. However, while the camo itself is viewable in-game, players will have to wait a bit before they can unlock the Thermal Breach Camo for themselves.
The Thermal Breach Camo is a reward tied to Iron Gauntlet, a limited-time gamemode that will arrive in Warzone closer to the mid-season of Season 2. To unlock the Thermal Breach Camo, players will need to win three matches of Iron Gauntlet with a total of 25 kills or more. This information comes from credible leaker RealityUK, who shared the unlock requirements for the camo over on X.
When Does Iron Gauntlet Release in Call of Duty: Warzone?
According to the official patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2, Iron Gauntlet will launch in Beta on March 5 at 9 AM PT and will be playable until March 9 at 9 AM PT. This gives players only four days to try out the mode and, subsequently, unlock the Thermal Breach Camo, though the mode could very well return at a later date. According to the patch notes, despite Iron Gauntlet originally being planned as a Warzone Ranked Play mode, this is no longer the case.
Iron Gauntlet will support duos squad sizes and take players to Verdansk, featuring a total of 150 players. Iron Gauntlet functions like a regular Battle Royale match, but with faster closing gas circles, increased loot rarity, and increased player health. The Gulag is also completely removed, and players will not be able to get free Loadout drops, instead relying on gathering enough cash to purchase one.
