How Does the Baron of the Wasteland Event Work in Black Ops 7 & Warzone?
Baron of the Wasteland is a leaderboard event that runs alongside the Quantum Exchange Event in Black Ops 7 and Warzone. In this event, players are put onto a leaderboard with 29 other players. To climb the leaderboard, players must collect Nuka-Cola Quantum Bottlecaps, which drop from eliminations in Endgame, Multiplayer, and Zombies, or from opening Loot Caches in Warzone.
The leaderboard features a variety of placement-based rewards, with the final placement players achieve by the event’s end determining what they earn. In addition to these placement rewards, there is also a separate set of Challenge Rewards that players can unlock immediately, independent of their leaderboard ranking.

When Does the Baron of the Wasteland Event End in Black Ops 7 & Warzone?
The Baron of the Wasteland Event officially began alongside the Quantum Exchange Event on January 15 at 10 AM PT. The event runs for a total of five days and officially ends on January 20 at 10 AM PT. This is also when all placement rewards will be distributed to players. All rewards associated with the Baron of the Wasteland Event are only unlockable during the event’s runtime and cannot be earned after it concludes.
