How Does the King of the Dead Event Work in Black Ops 6 Zombies?

Breaking the tradition of previous events in Black Ops 6, the King of the Dead Event is exclusive to Black Ops 6 Zombies. The event takes the form of a leaderboard-style challenge, tasking players with earning Leaderboard Points by scoring eliminations across any Zombies gamemode.

Each enemy type grants a specific number of Event Points, allowing players to optimize their point gain based on their targets. Completing the main Easter Egg quest for each map also awards players Points, with the amount varying from map to map.

The breakdown is as follows:

Zombie Kills: 1 Point
Special Zombie Kills: 25 Points
Elite Zombie Kills: 100 Points
Liberty Falls Quest: 3,500 Points
Terminus Quest: 7,500 Points
Citadelle Des Morts Quest: 10,000 Points
Tomb Quest: 6,000 Points
Shattered Veil Quest: 9,000 Points

By earning Points, players progress up the King of the Dead leaderboard, with rewards distributed based on final placement once the event ends. The leaderboard itself isn't worldwide; instead, it places those competing in the tournament with 30 other players. Reaching a specific tier unlocks that reward, along with all rewards from the lower tiers. The second category consists of Milestone Rewards, which are tied to earning a set number of Points. These are granted instantly upon reaching the required total.
