What's in the Bush is the latest event to grace the arena in Clash Royale. In this challenge, multiple Bushes spawn in the arena and remain dormant. When you or your opponent's troop touches it, the Dormant Bush comes alive and turns into a Suspicious Bush troop, adding more firepower to your pushes.
But here's where things get tricky! In some cases, instead of turning into a Suspicious Bush, touching a Dormant Bush will transform it into a Sparky. And if you don't want to take that huge Sparky hit, you need to take it down quickly. We pieced together two excellent decks to secure easy wins in the What's in The Bush event in Clash Royale.

Best What's in The Bush Deck in Clash Royale
Here are two decks to help you secure easy wins in the What's in The Bush event in Clash Royale:
- 2.0 Cycle Mother Witch Skeleton King
- 3.0 Double Witch Royal Ghost
You'll find more information about how to play these decks below.
2.0 Cycle Mother Witch Skeleton King
This 2.0 elixir deck is every cycle player's dream in Clash Royale. With three of the Spirits and the EVO skeletons in the deck, you'll be able to cycle your cards quickly. You've got the Skeleton King Champion as well to activate the 3-card cycle and go through your deck even faster. Here are the cards you'll need for this deck:
|
Card Name |
Elixir Cost |
|---|---|
|
Evo Skeletons |
1 |
|
Ice Spirit |
1 |
|
Fire Spirit |
1 |
|
Electro Spirit |
1 |
|
The Log |
2 |
|
Wall Breakers |
2 |
|
Mother Witch |
4 |
|
Skeleton King |
4 |
When the match starts, you want to place your Wall Breakers in the middle so that they can run up and touch the two Dormant Bushes in the middle lane right away. Place two spirits on both sides of the arena, and you'll have a decent push right from the get-go.
With the Mother Witch as your main defensive troop, your goal is to transform the enemy troops into Cursed Hogs to build up a strong push. This way, even if they manage to collect most of the Dormant Bushes on the map, you'll be able to set up an offense that threatens to take down the King Tower.
Of course, your opponent will always be able to pick up a couple of Dormant Bushes, and that's where The Log comes in. A well-timed log will get rid of the opponent's Suspicious Bush and open up the Bush Goblin for you to hit.
Here's a short clip of the deck taking almost two towers in a single push:
The surprise Sparky that might pop up from a Dormant Bush shouldn't be too difficult to handle when you're running this deck. You've got two resets: Ice Spirit and Electro Spirt. Even if these cards are out of cycle, you can tank a Sparky shot with your Skeleton King. Your cheap cards like Evo Skeletons or Fire Spirit can also tank the hit if you have no other options.
3.0 Double Witch Royal Ghost
The 3.0 Double Witch Royal Ghost has one big weakness. Since you don't have a troop that targets enemy towers, getting to the Dormant Bushes before your opponent will be difficult. However, counter-push is where this deck truly shines. Here are the cards that you'll need for this deck:
|
Card Name |
Elixir Cost |
|---|---|
|
Evo Bats |
2 |
|
Electro Spirit |
1 |
|
Goblin Curse |
2 |
|
Dart Goblin |
3 |
|
Royal Ghost |
3 |
|
Mother Witch |
4 |
|
Goblin Demolisher |
4 |
|
Witch |
5 |
With both Witch and Mother Witch in the deck, you'll be able to handle almost anything the enemy throws your way. Royal Ghost can help you collect the two Dormant Bushes in the middle of the arena. But don't expect to win the collection war with your enemy, at least not in the first minute.
Instead, it's better to focus on defense and let your opponent make the first move. With cards like Evo Bats, Dart Goblin, Goblin Demolisher, and Goblin Curse, you're much stronger when you're building up a counter push.
Here's a short clip of this deck taking the enemy king tower in one counter push even when it was down by one tower:
Since there are no attack reset cards in the deck, the surprise Sparky might give you some trouble. Use the Skeletons that your Witch spawns to tank the hit, and use your Evo Bats to take the Sparky out of the battlefield quickly.
Clash Royale: Tips to Win the What's in the Bush Event
Here are some tips for when you're playing the What's in the Bush challenge:
- Using spells like Zap or Goblin curse on Dormant Bushes has no effect. You need to touch them with your troops for them to come alive.
- Anti-swarm troops like Mother Witch or Royale Ghosts are highly recommended for this event.
- Ideally, you want at least one card that directly targets the enemy tower, such as the Hog Rider or Wall Breakers. You can use it to activate the Dormant Bushes in a lane.
- Use troops like Wall Breakers or Royal Ghost to activate the two Dormant Bushes in the middle lane. The Spirit cards can't activate both at once.
- To counter the surprise Sparky, it is highly recommended to have a reset like Ice Spirit, Electro Spirit, or Zap.
- Make sure you have at least one spell card, like Arrows, Goblin Curse, or The Log, to counter the enemy swarm cards.
Of course, there are other card combinations in Clash Royale that you can use to build a solid deck for the event. Feel free to play around with everything and let us know what works best for you.
