As you win games in Clash Royale, you move up the ladder and unlock new arenas. Each arena gives you access to new cards, and the battles get harder. There are 24 arenas in total, and as players earn more trophies, they also get better rewards.
Arena 7 is one of the early arenas that you unlock after reaching 2,000 Trophies. Once players get here, they will unlock seven new cards. That means deck building can get a little tricky since you now have many strong new options to choose from. So, to help you out, here are some of the best decks you can use in Clash Royale’s Arena 7.
Clash Royale: How to Use and Counter Spirit Empress
Spirit Empress is a new legendary card in Clash Royale. Here's a detailed look at what you need to know about it.
Updated on Nov 08, 2025, by Umama Ali: Arena 7 gives you access to some really strong cards in Clash Royale, so it’s a good idea to update your old decks if you want to keep winning. We’ve updated our guide with new decks that players can use in Arena 7. You will find info on all the cards you unlock here, as well as the best decks to help you dominate Arena 7.
New Cards in Clash Royale's Arena 7
The new cards you unlock once you reach Arena 7 are Three Musketeers, Royal Giant, Dark Prince, Royal Recruits, Royal Hogs, Prince, and Balloon.
Three Musketeers
Three Musketeers used to be one of the weakest cards in the game, but their recent rework has made them much better. They now have more HP and switch to melee attacks when an enemy troop gets too close. They cost nine elixir, which makes them the most expensive card in the game. This is why players usually pair them with the Elixir Pump.
Royal Giant
Royal Giant is arguably the best win condition in Clash Royale right now. He has a lot of HP, and his evolution makes him even more powerful. He costs six elixir, which is pretty fair for what he can do. With the new Evo Royal Ghost in the game, the classic Royal Giant Fisherman deck has become stronger than ever. You will see a lot of players using it in the higher arenas and competitive matches.
Dark Prince
Next up is the Dark Prince. He costs four elixir and only hits ground units, but his splash damage makes him great against swarms like Goblins or Skeleton Army. He usually works great with the Elixir Golem, though you won’t unlock that card until arena 14. For Arena 7, he’s usually seen in the Giant Double Prince Wizard deck that we have shared below.
Royal Recruits
Royal Recruits can be a really annoying card to deal with. When you play them, they spawn six troops that are kind of like Guards. They have decent HP and come with shields.
Royal Recruits don’t deal a lot of damage, but because there are six of them and they split into both lanes, it’s really hard to stop them all. Usually, at least one or two manage to sneak through and do some damage.
Royal Hogs
Royal Hogs are an awesome win condition in the right deck. You’ll unlock most of their support cards later as you climb the arenas, but even on their own, they’re pretty strong.
When you play them, four hogs charge toward the enemy towers. They split into both lanes so it’s hard to stop them all. Recently, the game also added their evolution, which makes them start off flying. When they get hit, they drop to the ground and deal a bit of damage when they land.
Prince
Prince costs five elixir and hits really hard. When he starts charging, he can easily make your opponent panic. If you back him up with the right support cards and a few good spells, he can be hard to stop.
Balloon
Balloon is a powerful win condition that deals huge damage with every hit. It’s an air unit, so you’ll want to protect it with cards like Lava Hound to make sure it reaches the enemy tower. The new Baby Dragon evolution also works great with it as it makes the Balloon move faster and land a few more hits.

First up is the Giant Double Prince Wizard deck. This deck is quite powerful thanks to its attackers like Prince and Dark Prince, while the Giant tanks for them. Wizard adds great support, especially against swarms, and the deck has solid spells like Arrows and Fireball to help out. Mega Minion gives players decent air defense, too.
Some players like to swap out Wizard for regular Minions to make the deck a bit cheaper, but we recommend sticking with Wizard for splash damage and better control against swarms.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 7 deck is 3.9.

This deck uses two strong win conditions: Giant and Balloon. You’ve also got Tombstone to slow things down and distract big tanks. Archers, Musketeer, and the Knight are there to hold the fort on defense, and they do a pretty good job. You only have Arrows as your spell, so make sure you are placing your Archers and Musketeer correctly.

This Hog Rider Musketeer Valkyrie deck is really solid and easy to use. Hog Rider is your main win condition. If he gets a few hits on the tower, you are in a good spot to win. Musketeer, Valkyrie, Skeletons, and Electro Spirit help defend your side.
For spells, we have the Fireball and Zap. You also have Cannon to distract enemy win conditions and keep your towers safe.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 7 deck is 2.9.
PEKKA Hog Rider Baby Dragon Deck
This deck might be a bit on the expensive side, but it’s really strong. With PEKKA and Battle Ram leading the way, you can crush your opponent’s towers if you play smart.
Musketeer, Baby Dragon, Minions, and Spear Goblins handle defense and can also help you build a strong push behind PEKKA. And if your opponent uses an Inferno Tower to stop him, you can use your Hog Rider and Fireball to clear the way.
The average elixir cost of this Arena 7 deck is 3.6.
