After a short delay, Clash of Clans is back with its September event called the Treasure Hunt. As the name suggests, this event is all about collecting treasure chests that offer all sorts of valuable rewards, ranging from Elixir, Decorations, and Hero Equipment, to new skins and Magic items.
These chests are not available at the Trader's Shop, so you can only get them through Home Village raids. Here are all the details you need to know about the ongoing COC Treasure Hunt event.

How to Get Treasure Chests in Treasure Hunt Clash of Clans
The Treasure Hunt event is only available for Town Hall level 6 or higher. To start, COC players can get 5 free treasure chests. For that, head over to Supercell’s official website, go to the redeem section, and claim your free chests to get started.
With these chests in your hand, now is the time to hunt for treasures. When you raid a Home Village, you will see three areas highlighted on the map, marking the potential location of the chest. One of these spots holds the treasure chest, while the other two are traps meant to ambush your troops. This mystery is what makes treasure hunting a lot more fun.
Fans can get one treasure chest per Home Village raid, but it’s important to point out that they can only collect 3 chests every 48 hours. After that, the timer resets and you will be able to get three more. To get the most out of it, you should check the game often and grab the chests when the timer refreshes.
All Treasure Chests in COC
There are four types of chest rarities in Clash of Clans, and each one gives players different rewards depending on their Town Hall and Builder Hall levels. The higher your TH level, the better your rewards. When you get a chest, you have to hit it with the hammer 4 times to reveal its rarity.
- Common Chest: Has a 58% drop rate. Offers magical items like Wall Rings, Magic Snacks, and other common rewards.
- Rare Chest: Has a 32% drop rate. Offers greater amounts of common resources along with some rare items.
- Epic Chest: Has an 8% drop rate. Offers magical items, Eternal Flame decoration, and Dark Elixir.
- Legendary Chest: Has a 2% drop rate. Offers exclusive Hero Skins, Hero Equipment, and Rune of Dark Elixir.
The COC Treasure Hunt event will end on September 30, 2024, so hop into the game now and collect as many treasure chests as you can before it’s over.
