As the youngest member of the titular Expedition 33, Maelle is known for her bold nature and athleticism. Although fan-made tributes to Maelle have been crafted as a response to Expedition 33's success, one fan chose to portray the red-headed character in a different style. On the r/Expedition33 subreddit, a user named Little_lucky_cosplay shared a cosplay of Maelle in her Lumiere outfit, one of Maelle's alternate looks that can be unlocked in-game. Maelle's Lumiere outfit consists of a striped black and white long-sleeved top, black trousers held up by suspenders, black stockings and shoes, and a red neck scarf. A similar outfit known as the Baguette attire adds a red beret and a gigantic baguette loaf tied to Maelle's back via a spotted strap tied around Maelle's chest. The Lumiere outfit can be purchased in Expedition 33 for 1,000 Chroma from the Gestral merchant Carrabi, located to the north of Esquie's Nest.
