After players witness the gommage of Sophie at the beginning of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, they must quickly swallow the heartbreak. This is because Gustave will soon embark on an expedition to the continent, on a mission to slay the Paintress. On their last night in the city, the people who are going on the expedition are having a party, enjoying their last day in Lumiere before going into the uncertainty of success, and drowning in the inevitability of death.

When Gustave first arrives at the party, he'll obtain a Festival Token in Expedition 33. However, players will soon notice that they need three Festival Tokens to get everything the game has to offer. Thankfully, it's possible to get two more Tokens, and one of them is obtainable by answering Antoine questions in Expedition 33.

Antoine questions in Expedition 33 consist of a total of three inquiries. Here are all of Antoine's questions and the correct answers:

  • Questions: When did our world break apart and our luminous city get thrown into the middle of the ocean? When was the Fracture?
  • Answers: 67 years ago.

The correct answer to the question: When was the Fracture? In Expedition 33 is 67 years ago, as the monolith was first marked with the number 100 and is now at 33.

  • Questions: Which was the first expedition to depart for the continent?
  • Answers: Expedition Zero

Despite the current team being named Expedition 33, the first expedition to depart for the continent is called Expedition Zero, likely since back then it made more sense to count up than down.

  • Questions: What is a Lumina?
  • Answers: Abilities you internalise by using a Pictos in battle after enough times.

A Lumina in Expedition 33 is a passive ability that can be equipped to a character after using a Pictos in four battles. Players will have to choose their Lumina carefully later on as they face harder enemies.

Expedition 33 Tokens - How To Use & What Do You Get From Them?
