Firaxis Games has revealed an overview of the upcoming update for Sid Meier's Civilization 7. According to a new blog post, this is one of the most content-packed updates for Civilization 7, introducing long-awaited features, advanced options, and several improvements based on testing and community feedback.
Civilization 7 was released in February 2025, nine years after its predecessor. In this new chapter of the acclaimed turn-based strategy game series, the game is divided into three ages - Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. Taking on the role of a legendary leader from a diverse cast, players must lead their civilization to progress by building cities and architectural wonders, making technological discoveries, and expanding their territory by conquering or cooperating with rival nations. Aiming to keep Civilization 7 an engaging experience, the developers have revealed what's coming next.
Civilization 7: How to Complete the Non Sufficit Orbis
Non Sufficit Orbis is the Exploration Age Military Legacy Path in Civilization 7, encouraging you to lay claim to Distant Lands.
Civilization 7 shared an overview of update 1.2.2, which is scheduled for release on June 17. One of the highlights of the patch is the addition of large and huge maps, supporting 10 civilizations in single-player, and eight civilizations for those who want to test the feature by playing Civilization 7 multiplayer. The game will also add several advanced options to give players greater control over how they start a game. One of these settings will allow them to choose which crises to display in the game and adjust the AI difficulty by tweaking systems such as economy and combat.
