In Civilization 6, there are tons of units and each one has its own function. One of the most important units in a game of Civilization 6 is the Scout; this unit is crucial for map exploration and discovery, which can grant several advantages that will certainly make a difference in the end game.
The Scout unit includes a person as well as a dog, but gamers can actually have a Scout surrounded by various cats, and this guide will show them out to unlock this option in Civilization 6.
How to Get the Scout Cat
Players can unlock the Scout Cat feature in Civilization 6 by linking their 2K account to their copy of the game.
To do this, players must visit the 2K website and log in or sign up if they haven't registered already. Then, they have to visit the My Account page, which is found on the top right corner of the screen. Here, they must select the "Connections" tab, which allows them to link their account to all the platforms where the game is available.
Players can also link their game to a 2K account directly from their platform. There is a 2K Account option on the bottom right corner of the Civilization 6 main menu screen.
Linking a 2K account to Civ 6 also grants players the Julius Ceaser leader as part of a free DLC pack.
How to Toggle the Scout Cat On and Off
Once players have connected Civilization 6 to their 2K account, the Scout Cat option will become available in their game. To turn it on, they have to select the Additional Content section in the Civilization 6 main menu, and then look for the "Scout Cat" DLC and enable it. To get the Scout Dog back in Civ 6, players have to return to this menu and disable the Scout Cat.
This mod is purely cosmetic. It doesn't change anything the Scout unit besides the fact that they will be surrounded by cats instead of a dog.
