In a new report, it was revealed that the Chainsaw Man manga has sold 35 million copies, helping it join a special list. As previously stated, the manga's sales are an indication of the series' growing popularity. While the manga has hit an impressive target, it still has room to grow. Obviously, such a thing won't happen overnight, so fans must keep supporting Chainsaw Man in any way possible.

Tatsuki Fujimoto is currently writing the second part of the Chainsaw Man manga. The first part came to an end in December 2020, and it was followed by the announcement of the second part of the manga. However, Chainsaw Man part 2 did not begin serialization until July 2022, nearly two years after the conclusion of the first.

While the Chainsaw Man manga is releasing new chapters regularly, the second season of the anime is still yet to premiere. In fact, for years there was absolutely no news about the second season, but that changed during Jump Festa 2026, when it was confirmed that the Chainsaw Man anime would be getting a sequel.

A key visual has already been shared, and additionally, it has been confirmed that the anime will cover the Assassins Arc. Aside from these details, there has been no news from MAPPA regarding the release date, which is understandable as the studio's Reze Arc movie premiered in September 2025.
