Capcom is teaming up with gaming drink manufacturer GameFlavor to release a unique series of drinks based on Resident Evil as a late celebration of the franchise's 25th anniversary. The iconic horror franchise has seen a major resurgence in recent years, bolstered by the popularity of Resident Evil 7 along with the well-received Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes. 2021 saw the release of the eighth main-series game Resident Evil Village along with the packed-in spinoff Resident Evil RE:Verse. Now, Capcom is bringing fans an exclusive drink based on the games.

Throughout the franchise's storied history, Resident Evil has frequently been featured in collaborations and promotions with a variety of products. The 25th anniversary celebration featured a major crossover with tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege, adding a new skin based on popular protagonist Leon Kennedy. The Resident Evil franchise has been adapted into multiple feature-length and animated films, as well as an eight-episode series with Netflix. Now, Resident Evil's newest collaboration will see the franchise receive its own line of drinks, inspired by the franchise's herbs and health sprays.

With Resident Evil's 25th anniversary celebrations recently wrapping up, the franchise looks to have plenty in store for fans throughout the coming year. Capcom officially announced the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake last year, later revealing the fan-favorite fourth entry would be returning early in 2023. Both the remake and Resident Evil Village were confirmed to be receiving VR versions, with Village's VR version set to launch at the end of next month. 2023 looks to have plenty in store for Resident Evil fans with new ways to experience their favorite games.
