Skate (known by the community as Skate 4) is out today (well, it's supposed to be out), but it seems that a lot of people are finding out that the game is currently unavailable on Steam. The digital storefront is the first place many PC players go to for their gaming needs, but there are some other methods for installing Skate if you want to try playing ASAP.
New Game Is Like Skate, But With a Scooter
One upcoming game is looking to deliver a sandbox-style, physics-driven sports experience akin to Skate—but with a kick scooter.
How to Download and Install Skate 4
PC, Xbox, and PS5
Alright, let's get into it. If you want to play Skate (2025), Steam is not the place (at least for the time being). For other methods, you have a couple of choices.
- You can install the Epic Games launcher and download the game from there (it's live, I checked!)
- You can download the EA App and get it from there as well.
- For PS5 users, if it's not showing up in the store, you can download the PS App on your phone and search for the game there. Hit the button to add it to your library and then install it onto your console.
- For those playing on Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, you can turn on your console, head to the store, and just search for Skate. I have an Xbox and can confirm that it's there and available to download and install.
It's worth noting that even if you download the game from Epic, you still need to install the EA app on your PC (sorry, Steam lovers!)
