Since the arrival of Season 3, Call of Duty: Warzone has already seen a number of changes, both good and bad. While fans have been less than enthused to see the Trios playlist get jerked around the past couple of weeks, Raven Software and Infinity Ward have also made some interesting adjustments to improve overall player experience. Not only have over 70,000 cheaters been banned, but more noticeable changes have also been added like the kill cam adjustment. However, more than a few subtle changes have also been added as well.
As he's been doing quite recently, Raven Software creative director Amos Hodge took to Twitter to highlight a subtle change that not all Call of Duty: Warzone players may not have been aware of. Hodge noted another vehicle change that the team recently added, giving players the ability to use kill streaks while being a passenger inside of a vehicle.
The change, while small, should prove to be a bit more useful for teams as it adds another layer of strategy to the game mode. For solo players, this won't change much as Hodge previously revealed that armored trucks were removed completely from the Solo playlist. The change was made to switch up the meta which seemed to revolve around hunkering down inside these heavily armored vehicles and scoring easy kills by running other players over.
While armored trucks remain incredibly valuable, and perhaps a bit too powerful for more than a few players, the Call of Duty Twitter account gave a surprising tip for better using them. Players can basically throw extra loot or smaller vehicles in the back to turn it into a mobile headquarters. Better yet, this can be vital for player being redeployed by their teammates.
These subtle changes aren't the end of the planned tweaks however. While the team has previously stated that they'd like to keep loadout drop prices consistent across each Warzone playlist, they are currently looking into adjusting the drop rate of money. If the proposed changes eventually go through, the amount of money that drops from players will be largely based on how many are left alive. However, Hodge didn't elaborate further, revealing if more money drops would drop at higher player numbers during the beginning or when there are less players towards the end of the match.
Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
