It's been a week since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5, and Infinity Ward is already turning up the heat. Four brand new cosmetic items are available for Warzone  and Modern Warfare fans to unlock by watching their favorite Call of Duty Twitch streams.

The Warzone giveaway promotion is running from August 12 to 19 and includes several cosmetics and a short XP buff. Dedication to the stream gives more items, as long as players have linked their Twitch account to their Call of Duty account.

Rewards are dispensed based on how long players have been watching the streamer's broadcast. To qualify for the reward, players must be watching a Call of Duty: Warzone or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare streamer on Twitch. Players can earn a "Smoke Up" sticker, a 1-hour Double Weapon XP token, a "Big Bang" animated calling card, and a "Blast Check" weapon charm. Each reward is awarded at the end of each hour watching a qualifying stream on Twitch.

Interested fans will need to make sure their Call of Duty account is linked to their Twitch account to receive the rewards. Players should double-check previously linked accounts just to be sure as to not waste four hours watching a stream for no reward. The process is fairly simple and Twitch will alert players if their accounts are not linked properly.

Many of the big-name Warzone streamers will have the Twitch drops enabled anytime they are streaming in Warzone or Modern Warfare. Players can tune into TimetheTatman, NickMercs, Noah, or CouRage for all the rewards listed above. There are even more streamers not named that qualify, the only rule is that they must have Twitch drops enabled and be streaming the appropriate games.

To tell if a streamer has drops enabled, players must simply look at the stream's tags. As long as the stream has "drops enabled" listed, players will receive rewards. These rewards are fairly minor but they are expected to be exclusive to Twitch members, so fans can only gain these Warzone cosmetics from Twitch and may not be able to earn them later. Even staying for two hours is worth the effort, as the 1-hour Weapon XP token can speed up the grind and help any fan reach Damascus sooner rather than later in the season. Make sure to keep an eye on Twitch Rewards for future giveaway opportunities.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
