Collaborations have become a frequent part of Call of Duty, taking inspiration from other titles such as Fortnite that seem to have new crossovers on an almost weekly basis. As players eagerly await the arrival of Season 2 for Call of Duty: Warzone, a new leak has revealed that the hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg will apparently be coming to the game soon.

This won't be the first time that the rapper has been involved in the Call of Duty franchise, as Snoop Dogg provided voice lines for DLC in Call of Duty: Ghosts that replaced the battle announcers voice with his. Previously, Snoop Dogg has also been involved in other games including True Crime: Streets Of LA, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff, and even starred in his own video game called Way Of The Dogg.

Prominent Call of Duty leaker ZestyLeaks has revealed that Snoop Dogg will be coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 2 as an Operator, making him a playable character in the game. The rapper will join other characters from entertainment franchises such as Scream, Saw, and Attack on Titan. In the leaked image, Snoop Dogg is wearing a World War 2-themed outfit and is holding an MP-40.

The upcoming Season 2 update is set to bring two new maps to Call of Duty: Vanguard, in addition to the new Ranked Play competitive mode, and new Killstreaks, Perks, and Lethal Equipment, as well as plenty of other changes that will come to the game over the coming month.

Another Call of Duty leaker named TheGhostofHope had confirmed that the Operator skin had been added to the in-game files on February 10, but it wasn't known whether it was a skin or a new voiceover. It is also unconfirmed whether Snoop Dogg will be providing any dialogue for his character, but it should become more apparent what will be included when Activision officially reveals the new skin and collaboration. No release date has been leaked, but it is expected that the skin will be released on April 20 for obvious reasons.

This news comes just days after it was announced that Snoop Dogg had purchased Death Row Records, the record label where Snoop Dogg got his start in his career, releasing smash hit albums such as Doggystyle and Tha Doggfather. Snoop Dogg's friend and long-term collaborator Dr. Dre has also been involved in gaming recently, providing new music, motion capture, and dialogue for new missions in Grand Theft Auto Online. The iconic duo will also be teaming up with Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar for a performance during the halftime show at Super Bowl LVI as the LA Rams are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals in what could be the Bengals first-ever Super Bowl victory.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
