Season 6 of Call of Duty: Warzone has started, treating fans to even more guns to check out. With the release of this season comes five new weapons to the battle royale, such as the.410 Ironhide and the LAPA SMG. While many fans are enjoying the new content on offer, a recent mistake from Raven Software removed the RAAL LMG from the gunsmith for a short time.
The RAAL LMG was initially released earlier this year for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and later came to Warzone a few months ago. Featuring a base magazine size of 100 rounds along with firing powerful.338 Norma Mag bullets, the weapon has become popular. Unfortunately for players wanting to check out the weapon, it recently went missing from the game.
Players discovered the disappearance of the RAAL LMG from Call of Duty: Warzone after the Season 6 update with even those that had a blueprint for the weapon unable to find the LMG in the gunsmith menu. After realizing that the LMG had been seemingly taken out of the battle royale, many players took to social media to discover the reason behind the removal. However, the answers on the internet were inconclusive, with some speculating that the weapon had issues with glitches while others claimed that the problem was the gunsmith menu being bugged.
This caused frustration for many in the community, as some revealed that they had recently unlocked the weapon. While some players that already had the weapon equipped to a loadout could still use it in the battle royale, most players were unable to add the weapon from the gunsmith. In addition to the disappearance of this weapon, other players had reported issues with the gunsmith menu crashing their games. This strange situation left many players perplexed after the developers had revealed no previous plans to remove the gun from the battle royale.
Fortunately for fans of the RAAL LMG, a new update was released on October 8 bringing the weapon back to the game. In the patch notes, Raven Software acknowledged that the removal of the gun was a mistake that happened with the release of Season 6 of Warzone. “The RAAL LMG (MW) is back! Oops,” the developer said.
This news comes as players are gearing up for a new Halloween-themed event in Warzone. Starting on October 19, players can check out a bunch of new spooky content in the seasonal event called The Haunting. In addition, players will be able to purchase the Scream Ghostface skin during the festivities. The Haunting is also coming to Black Ops Cold War.
Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
