While it might be hard for some to believe, Warzone Pacific Season 2 for Call of Duty: Warzone is coming soon. This future update looks to bring additional content to Caldera, the new map for the battle royale. While this upcoming season should excite players, a number of issues with the tropical map have threatened to sap the enjoyment out of the title.
Among the issues affecting Warzone, the developers at Raven Software have had to deal with many glitches, such as one that turned the entire Gulag invisible. In addition, cheaters have started to make vehicles fly on the Caldera map, wreaking havoc on those confined to the ground. While the developers have worked to address these issues, it appears they have a long way left to go before all the bugs are squashed.
In the most recent glitch discovered in Warzone, players are encountering invisible enemies while playing the battle royale. This unusual and game-breaking bug was showcased in a video by a Reddit user known as stumilne during a recent game. Taking place on the new Caldera map, the gamer spotted a group of enemies near a hut not far away. The player was about to engage the opposing squad when suddenly the enemies disappeared from view. Shocked by what had happened, the Reddit user shot several bullets in the general vicinity of where the opponents recently had been.
This glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone appeared to happen after the player aimed down the sights of their gun. In addition to enemy players disappearing, friendly squadmates and objects, such as a fence directly in front of stumilne, vanished. Even the crosshair on their weapon was missing when scoped in. However, some traces of the players still remained as the light from surrounding gunfire was visible. Unable to see what was going on, stumilne decided to retreat from the skirmish and hope that the bug went away.
The discovery of this new glitch that turns enemies invisible doubtlessly makes fighting on the Caldera map much more difficult. Since posting a video of this strange bug on Reddit, members of the Warzone community have weighed in on the issue. Unfortunately, other gamers from both PC and console noted that they had similar experiences while playing the game. In addition, players claimed that it appeared to happen most frequently near the Peak, Beach, and Mines locations on Caldera.
It will be interesting to see how the developers at Raven Software respond to this glitch in the coming days. Hopefully, it can be fixed soon so that players can get back to playing Warzone the way it was meant to be played.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
